Dr Roger Chang completed his Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine (Distinction) through the University of New South Wales. Dr Chang has a wide range of clinical experiences with strong interests in paediatrics, emergency care, and complex symptom management.

 

Dr Chang was awarded a postgraduate Certificate in Emergency Medicine through the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine. Subsequently, he gained clinical experience as a Senior Resident in General Paediatrics and Paediatric Emergency through the Sydney Children’s Hospital, during which time he completed the Sydney Child Health Program (formerly Diploma of Child Health), Moreover, he completed the Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine (Royal Australasian College of Physicians) through his work at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, looking after patients with advanced cancer, chronic illness and complex symptoms. In addition, Dr Chang enjoys teaching future generations of doctors through his role as an Adjunct Associate Lecturer through the University of New South Wales Prince of Wales Clinical School.


Outside of Medicine, Dr Chang enjoys indoor bouldering and spending time with his family.
