Dr Moe Moe Thinn is a Consultant Developmental Paediatrician with a keen interest in developmental and behavioral specialties. Dr Moe Moe achieved a medical degree and postgraduate diploma in child health from the University of New South Wales. She completed Master of Public Health from Monash University. Dr Moe Moe has more than ten years experiences in paediatrics working in both rural and metropolitan hospitals through Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. She has joined Specialist Medical Services Group (SMSG) with a passion for promoting the wellbeing of children and their families.

 

Dr Moe Moe has been a Conjoint Lecturer at UNSW Medicine as well as a Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong and actively involves with teaching and examining of medical students. She is committed to ongoing education, research studies and charities work.

Cara is a registered psychologist with a wide variety of experience working with individuals and their families across the lifespan - from childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Cara uses a strengths based, empathic and professional approach to assist individuals with achieving their goals. She has worked in community health settings (including headspace), private practice settings and schools, assisting people from various socio-cultural backgrounds and with a range of mental health issues.

 

Cara has facilitated individualised programs and therapy for clients and their families, in addition to developing and facilitating groups using evidence based practice to improve mental health and wellbeing of individuals in the community. Cara is passionate about catering to fit the individual needs of clients using a range of therapeutic approaches including; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

Sue is a passionate and experienced psychologist with significant expertise in working with young children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of learning, behavioural and mental health issues. She has worked in private practice and educational settings assisting people from a culturally and linguistically diverse population.

 

Sue’s personal style is empathetic, and values driven. She draws from a range of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to address individual needs. 

 

Sue has experience and interest working with a number of presentations including depression, anxiety (including OCD), post-traumatic stress, deliberate self-harm, emotional dysregulation, academic and work-related stress, and relationship difficulties. Sue believes in a collaborative and flexible approach, that focuses on building a strong therapeutic alliance and tailors treatment approaches to the specific needs of individuals. 

 

Sue has a special interest in trauma related conditions and her continuous engagement in professional learning ensures she is well-informed of the latest trends, research, and best-practice. She is currently undertaking further study in family mediation to assist families resolve their disputes instead of using the family law courts.
